JCP to discuss SHC CJ’s appointment on Monday

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa has convened a meeting of Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) on Monday, December 4 for deliberations over appointment of Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi as permanent chief justice of the Sindh High Court (SHC).
At present, Justice Aqeel is performing his functions as acting chief justice of the SHC after the elevation of former Sindh High Court acting chief justice Irfan Saadat Khan as a Supreme Court judge.
