LAHORE:Thursday morning’s scattered rain in the city has slightly improved the Air Quality Index (AQI) while Met office predicted a similar weather for the next 24 hours.
Despite the AQI came down, the provincial metropolis still stood at the third position on the chart of the world’s top ten most polluted cities.
Meanwhile, after early morning scattered rain in the city, the weather became pleasant and partly cloudy. Met officials said a westerly wave was affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist till Friday (today). Thursday’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Leh where mercury dropped down to -04°C while in Lahore it was 13.3°C and maximum was 21.5°C.
