Karachi B, Lahore B record win in National T20

KARACHI: Karachi Blues and Lahore Blues registered victories in their respective group matches of the National T20 Cup at different venues here on Sunday. In other matches, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Abbottabad also recorded one-sided wins.

In the group A third-round match, Karachi B overcame Larkana Region by nine wickets after they bowled their opponents out for 61, and chased down the small target in the ninth over.

Lahore B edged Karachi Whites by just five runs in a thrilling group B encounter at the National Bank Stadium. Lahore B posted 159 runs for the loss of eight wickets, and restricted the opponents at 154-7 in 20 overs.
