Husband’s pension restored to widow

TANK: Maulana Bibi, a widow hailing from Sararogha tehsil in Upper South Waziristan district, has thanked the army for transferring her late husband’s pension in her name.
Speaking to the media, she said that the pension of her late husband, who had retired from Shawal Scouts, had been stopped for the past four years. She said that later she sought the assistance of the army in transferring the pension to her name and her demand was fulfilled.
The woman said that she and her family had been facing a lot of problems due to the discontinuation of the pension.She said that she wanted her grandson to join the army in future.
