QUETTA: Balochistan Information Minister Jan Achakzai has said Pakistan has shared details of terrorists and their terrorist acts using the soil of Afghanistan with Kabul government.

Addressing a press conference here, the minister said, “As a neighbouring Islamic brother country, Afghanistan should give a positive response to Pakistan, and hand over the wanted terrorists to us”.

But, he said, the influential evil elements in Afghanistan have made an evil plan. According to their plan, evil and terrorism acts would be done in sensitive matters in Pakistan which can be blamed on Pakistani institutions. “Pakistan condemns all kinds of terrorism around the world. If any action is taken to discredit the institutions of Pakistan, they will be given a befitting reply. Our brotherhood should not be considered as our weakness”, he said.

The minister said Pakistan has never accepted aggression and supremacy of anyone. Indian mothers scare their children with the name of Pakistan after our befitting reply to the Indian aggression, he said adding they are still feeling the heat of devastation of their attack planes in Balakot and that of Abhinandan’s cup of tea.

Pakistan is determined to return all the illegal foreigners. After that, all the Afghan refugees will return, the minister told newsmen.

The sanctuaries in Afghanistan have directly become a permanent threat to the security of Pakistan, from where terrorism is carried out, for which all the planning is done, the minister pointed out.

The minister told the press a systematic plan has been made on the territory of Afghanistan adjacent to Zhob region of Balochistan for subversive activities in Pakistan. He said, “The target they have set is the protest sit-in at Chaman. The sit-in will be targeted and the blame will be put on the security agencies of Pakistan to create misunderstanding among the State, agencies and the people”.

Provincial information minister said Pakistan’s Foreign Office has shared with the Taliban government the information about terrorists and their sanctuaries on Afghan soil. “Unfortunately, no action has been taken in this regard yet”, he regretted. The caretaker government, the minister said, is trying to deport all illegal Afghan immigrants by December. After that the government would announce a time frame for repatriating the remaining Afghan immigrants, he added. “As the civil war in Afghanistan is now over, all Afghans will have to go to Afghanistan”, he said.

The minister appealed the Afghan Government to end sanctuaries in their country to control the problem of terrorism. He also asked the Kabul government to hand over terrorists to Pakistan, ensure the return of Afghan migrants and their dignified resettlement in Afghanistan. “Facilitators shelter terrorists, deliver them food, provide rides and according to intelligence reports, keep terrorists in some madrasas for up to five days”, the minister noted. He warned facilitation in any form would not be tolerated.
