PMLN has no space to accommodate ‘other candidates’: Raja Riaz
LAHORE: Former opposition leader in National Assembly Raja Riaz said on Sunday the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) did not have space to accommodate people of other parties.
Talking to the media here, he said the party already had lots of candidates for both National Assembly and Punjab Assembly constituencies, and it was finding it hard to select candidates.
Raja Riaz claimed that the PMLN would make a clean sweep in Punjab.
In response to a question, he said, “I don’t think the IPP [Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party] will be able to win seats in Punjab. But nothing can be said about the situation as politics keeps changing.” He said the PMLN and the IPP were not political allies.
In response to a question, he alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was a “Jewish lobby man”, and he would have been recognised Israel had he continued as the prime minister of Pakistan.
He said had Imran Khan recognised Israel, Pakistan and its people would have been bearing the brunt of Israeli brutalities in Palestine.
