Four devotees dead, 21 injured in Rajanpur accident
DERA GHAZI KHAN: Four devotees died and 21 others were injured after a coaster crashed into a roadside barrier near Fazilpur-Rajanpur on Indus Highway on Sunday.
The injured were shifted to District Head-quarters (DHQ) Hospital Rajanpur by the rescue officials. All the dead and the injured belonged to Jacobabad Sindh and were returning from Jhang.
The dead were identified as Yasir, son of Mohammad Yousaf, Shajar Ali, son of Ubaidullah, Shafeeq, Son of Gul Ganwar and Mohammad Zia, son of Mohammad Akram. The injured included: Zameer Ali, Musarrat Bibi, Uzair Ahmed, Faizan, Uman Mai, Hussain Bakhash, Ubaidullah, Abdul Salam, Mohammad Moeed, Noshaba Bibi, Mai Laal, Nasir Ali, Ali Haider, Qadeer Hussain, Mohammad Aamir, Abdul Ghafoor, Hussain Shafqat, Ishrat abid, Ali Zaheer, Ahmad, Shazia and Safia Bibi.
As per the rescue officials, the vehicle hit the roadside barrier after driver fell asleep. The devotees were going back to Thul Jacobabad after visiting Jhang.
