Olympian Hanif’s wife passes away

KARACHI: Wife of Pakistan hockey team’s manager and chief coach Olympian Hanif Khan was laid to rest here on Sunday.

According to family, her soyem will be held on Tuesday between Asar and Maghrib prayers at Masjid -e-Usman Gani in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 9, for gents. For ladies, soyem will be held at the residence of Hanif Khan.

PHF president Khalid Khokhar and secretary Shahbaz Ahmed expressed sorrow over the death of Hanif’s wife.

They prayed to Allah to grant courage to the grieved family to bear this loss and rest the departed soul in eternal peace.

SWHA president Khushbakht Shuja’at and secretary Erum Bhukhari also expressed grief over her death.
