Beatrice, Eugenie expose themselves: ‘They expected things to go south without warning’

Both Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have been on the media’s radar for moths at this point and their most recent public engagement, which was a family wedding seems to have exposed them, in the eyes of body language expert Inbaal Honigman.

The expert spoke on behalf of Casino and according to them, the sisters looked ‘fearful’ and completely exposed. It even looked like they “expected things to go south without warning”.

Ms Honigman broke down everything slowly, and focused on both sisters separately.

She started with Beatrice and pointed out how she had walked “confidently ahead of her sister,” seemingly attempting to “convey an air of authority,” with her “head raised tall” and “her shoulders strong and squared.”

However, the point where she let herself get exposed was when as she walks up, the expert explained, “we can see that she lowers her eyes once or twice, perhaps uncertain of how she would be received by her family at the high-profile event. The lowering of the eyes is a blocking gesture, and it signifies the Princess taking a quick moment away from it all mentally, allowing herself to think her thoughts uninterrupted. Beatrice's facial expression is blended, as she is seen smiling on the approach, and then pulling her features back into a neutral face.”

Moreover “she keeps dampening her own smile as if not to appear too enthusiastic,” she explained. “It would appear that Beatrice is overthinking the situation, and is experiencing moments of uncertainty, anxious, perhaps fearful that some of the relatives wouldn't be so happy to see her.”

Then came the breakdown of her sister Eugenie who is currently pregnant.

According to Ms Honigman, Princess Eugenie on the other hand didn’t even look like she was trying to hide her nerves. “Fidgeting, touching her face and stroking her hair away, the younger Princess is feeling the fear and showing her tension,” she explained. “There's even a moment when her thumb pokes towards her lips, as if she's about to bite her nail, a clear expression of anxiety,” she pointed out.

Anther thing that caught the expert’s eyes was that “nail biting is self-soothing behaviour, similar to thumb sucking. As it happens, the nail remains untouched, but it was headed that way momentarily.”

Only when they're warmly embraced by family members on arrival, do both Princesses "smile broadly, visibly relieved," but "their eyes still dart from side to side, she exlained. "The body language of darting eyes represents 'searching for an exit'. It is a nervous reaction which indicates that the person expects things to go south without warning," she said before signing off too.
