Ariana Grande makes emotional message after long-awaited return to stage

Ariana Grande's hotly-anticipated tour of Eternal Sunshine is here under the starry light of Oakland Arena.

It is her first tour in over six years.

In the show, she performed a set of 23 tracks, which is divided into three acts.

They include Break Free, Into You, Thank U, Next, Rain On Me, and Dangerous Woman.

Then, Grande stunned fans by debuting a song titled Hate That i Made You Love Me, from her upcoming album, Petal.

Following the rousing show, the pop icon took to Instagram in an emotional manner to heap praise on fans.

"oakland, night one it feels impossible to find the words at this time … so for now, just thank you. from the bottom of my heart. i love you all more than words can ever possibly say and i missed you. thank you."

After Oakland, Grande's tour includes Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and others.
