Eala is currently ranked No. 31 in the world and has drawn large crowds during recent tournaments.
Her popularity has caught the attention of Sky Sports presenter Gigi Salmon, who compared the atmosphere at Eala’s matches to a major music event.
“She might already be the biggest star,” Salmon said while discussing Eala’s growing fan base.
Salmon also noted the strong energy at the young player’s matches, saying the crowd atmosphere feels similar to a Taylor Swift concert.
Eala’s rapid rise has been fuelled by strong performances and dedicated support from fans in the Philippines, who have travelled to tournaments to watch her play.
