Luci4, a rising rapping star best known for his viral hit song BodyPartz, died suddenly at just age 23.
His family confirmed his shocking passing. Though James Dear – the rapper's real name – cause of death remains unknown.
However, his grandparents flagged "suspicion" over his death, which happened at a friend's home in Los Angeles on February 22.
His family shared that they had been warning him about the company he was lately keeping. In addition, his wallet was also emptied.
As suspicion was raised, police TMZ reports have begun a probe into his sudden death to look for any foul play – in this regard, an autopsy is also set to occur.
The late rapper's manager, Kayla G, shocked by his death, took to Instagram to mourn him.
"I am devastated to inform you of that today. James, Luci4, and axxturel have passed away. He was truly a leader."
