Blue Jays' George Springer announcement excites fans ahead of new MLB season
Blue Jays' George Springer, a four time All Star and former World Series MVP, played a major role in Toronto’s 2025 campaign
The Blue Jays' George Springer announcement is drawing attention ahead of the 2026 MLB season, with the Toronto Blue Jays unveiling a special promotion celebrating veteran outfielder George Springer, according to Athlon Sports.
Springer, a four time All Star and former World Series MVP, played a major role in Toronto’s 2025 campaign, helping the team reach its first Fall Classic since 1993.
The Blue Jays revealed their upcoming promotions schedule on social media, including a “Jumpin' George Springer Bobblehead Giveaway” set for April 10 at Rogers Centre.
"AS SEEN ON TV...your American League Champs! It's Day 1 of our Promotions & Events Schedule," the team captioned in its announcement, as reported by Athlon Sports.
The bobblehead celebrates Springer’s memorable game winning three run home run against the Seattle Mariners in Game 7 of the 2025 American League Championship Series.
The first 15,000 fans attending the April 10 matchup against the Minnesota Twins will receive the collectible.
Springer is coming off one of the strongest seasons of his career. During the 2025 regular season, he hit .309 with a .959 OPS, along with 32 home runs, 84 RBIs and 18 stolen bases.
He also delivered in the postseason, batting .284 with four homers during Toronto’s run to the American League pennant.
The Blue Jays open the 2026 regular season on March 27 at home against the Athletics as they look to build on last year’s success.
