Meghan Markle accused of making father sign legal papers from hospital bed
Meghan Markle has reportedly said she will not visit her father despite leg amputation surgery
Meghan Markle reportedly made her estranged father Thomas Markle Sr. signed legal papers from hospital bed instead of giving him a call.
According to royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, the Duchess of Sussex did not contact her father even after being given his phone number and hospital details while he was seriously ill.
Speaking about the timeline of the day when Thomas was hospitalized, Kinsey revealed to Talk TV, citing journalist Caroline Graham that she received aggressive messages from someone linked to Meghan’s PR team after a Daily Mail story was published.
Caroline later gave Thomas Sr.’s contact information and hospital room details to Meghan’s team but said no call was made, said Kinsey.
She further revealed that on Monday afternoon, an assistant to the hospital president entered Thomas Sr.’s room with a one-page legal document titled “Consent and Waiver” for a possible visit from a US Embassy representative.
While in serious condition, confined to hospital bed, Thomas Sr. was asked to sign the waiver allowing embassy staff to share information about him if contacted.
“Meghan sent multiple people, parade of individuals, with legal documents through his hotel or hospital room,” Kinsey said.
She added, “He just wanted phone call, so he signed piece of paper saying embassy could give somebody information about him.
“Then somebody showed up and asked for specific names — Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Caroline, and Thomas Jr. — that if anyone called embassy, information could be given.
“Moments later, he asked, ‘Who called and asked for me at embassy?’ And person said, ‘I don’t know.’”
