Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are ‘perfectly capable of being ruthless’, the insider said following their role in resolving the latest crisis surrounding Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

According to media reports, Prince William played key role in King Charles decision to strip Andrew of his titles and remove the former Duke of York from Royal Lodge.

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton fully supported her husband William in influencing King Charles to make the decision to strip Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of his royal titles and honours and evict him from Royal Lodge.

Amid these claims, the insider tells the Closer, there is no doubt Queen Camilla is ‘panicked’ about where she will stand in the new scheme of things but instead of falling into line and respecting Kate “she’s chosen to be petty and territorial.”

“She’s being professional and cordial when they’re together in public, but behind closed doors Camilla’s not shy at all about making her feelings known, and it’s been quite the talking point for a while now because she’s so vocal to courtiers and other senior royals.”

The royal sources add there is no doubt that the tide has been turning, and that Camilla will soon have to accept that Kate and William will ring in a new era for the Royal Family.

“She only needs to look at how the Waleses have handled the situation with Andrew, Sarah and the Sussexes to know they’re perfectly capable of being ruthless,’ the insider warns.

The close confidant added, “So right now people are warning her to suck it up and stop sabotaging her future standing in the monarchy.”
