'TVD' star Candice King reveals due date post pregnancy announcement

Candice King and Steven Krueger are expanding their family, and they could not be happier. 

The couple announced their pregnancy on Monday, December 8, fresh off a sunny babymoon in Aruba.

In a new conversation with Us Weekly, the Vampire Diaries alum opened up about the joy she and her husband have been feeling since learning they were expecting.

“My fiancé and I are so excited. It’s such a joy,” King shared.

“It’s something that we’re not only excited about right now. This is something we’ve been daydreaming about so it’s lovely to be here right now celebrating it,” she added.

King also revealed that fans will not have to wait too long to meet the little one, sharing that she is already approaching the midpoint of her pregnancy.

“I’m due in May of 2026,” she said. 

“I know it’s kind of crazy to be at that almost halfway point."

Reflecting on the journey so far, she emphasized that the biggest priority remains the health and happiness of both mom and baby.

“The most important thing [for us] is a happy, healthy mama and baby. At each little milestone and appointment, that’s been a big celebration,” she noted, before moving on to other topics.

It is pertinent to mention here that Candice King previously shares two daughters with ex-husband Joe King, Florence May King and Josephine June King. However, with Steven Krueger, it is her first pregnancy.
