Mila Kunis gets candid about her rare role in neighbourhood
Mila Kunis shed light on relatable troubles from neighbourhood
Mila Kunis has recently opened up about her unexpected role as head of her neighborhood’s homeowners association, and the very relatable frustrations that come with it.
During an appearance on the Today show, the actress joked about life as the president of her HOA, revealing that her neighbors reach out constantly, and almost always with complaints.
For those unversed, Kunis lives in the area with husband Ashton Kutcher, 47, and their children Wyatt, 11, and Dimitri, 9.
“All people do is complain — all I get is complaints all day long,” she quipped.
“No one ever goes, ‘You know what? Thank you so much’ for anything — ever!”
The Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery star insisted she only accepted the position because no one else wanted it.
However, she joked about using her Hollywood spotlight to advocate for HOA presidents across the country.
“I’m gonna start a petition as a homeowner — as a head of the homeowners association,” Kunis teased.
“I want to thank all other homeowners, members of the homeowners association and the presidents for all their hard work — because no one ever says thank you!”
“I worked hard at it! Chat GPT and I worked really hard at putting that email together!” she joked.
Hoping to nudge residents into communicating, Kunis admitted she recently recruited a friend who also lives in the neighborhood.
“Recently, I had to text my friend who lives in the neighbourhood,” she said.
“And I was like, ‘You need to reply to my email and be like, thank you so much, so that I can encourage other people to acknowledge my email.’”
