A royal expert has warned King Charles that the ‘monarchy is in danger of collapse’, therefore, the monarch should not show any ‘weakness’
In his opinion for the Woman’s Day, royal expert Phil Dampier has claimed this amid Andrew and Sarah Ferguson ongoing crisis and King Charles strong move.
He said all the time Andrew and Sarah are lingering like a bad smell the perception will be that they are still “getting away with it” and could try and make a comeback in the future.
Citing the senior aides, Dampier said : “It’s essential Andrew moves out soon otherwise it will all look like a fudge, and although the King has some sympathy and compassion for his brother, he can’t show any weakness.
“His actions have to be strong and permanent, otherwise the monarchy is in danger of collapse.”
Moreover, the royal expert also believes Prince William is “stiffening his father’s backbone in the wings, ensuring these problems are sorted out before he comes to the throne.”
Meanwhile, royal expert Helena Chard has said the former Duke of York is said to be at 'loggerheads' with his brother, King Charles.
Speaking to the Fox News Digital, Helena said, "Andrew feels he has played ball, doing everything asked of him surrounding Royal Lodge. We hear he is reeling and wants to be treated fairly, especially as he is giving up the perfectly valid lease on his beloved Royal Lodge."
King Charles has initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles and honours of Andrew.
Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
Andrew’s lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. “Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”
