Prince Harry’s estrangement from royal family now ‘almost impossible’ to repair
Prince Harry treated with caution by King Charles and Prince William over trust issues
Prince Harry has received a sad new amid hopes of reunion with the royal family that his estrangement is now “almost impossible” to repair.
Speaking with Radar Online, King Charles and Prince William view the Duke of Sussex with deep suspicion due to trust issues.
An insider told the publication that the monarch and the Prince of Wales fear he might secretly record conversations for future interviews or books.
"He is treated with such suspicion by the likes of Charles and William they genuinely fear he will secretly record their conversations to use as potential ammunition in another sit-down TV interview or book,” the insider said.
"They want him at arm's length as they are convinced he cannot he trusted,” they added.
This comes amid reports that Charles will not be able to meet with Harry, his wife Meghan Markle, their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, on his upcoming US tour.
Sharing the reason behind this, royal author Robert Jobson penned for Hello! Magazine, “There will be no detour.”
“While some close to the palace quietly suggest the Sussexes could travel east for a discreet meeting in Washington, their presence would dominate headlines, eclipsing the state visit, so for that reason, it remains improbable."
