Meghan Markle and former Prince Andrew's relationship explained
Meghan Markle has no connection to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor other than he is Prince Harry's uncle
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, the uncle of Prince Harry, recently lost his royal titles over his links to late sex offender Jeffery Epstein.
Andrew's eldest brother, King Charles III, also ordered the former Duke of York to vacate his Royal Lodge residence.
As soon as the disgraced royal lost his privileges and titles, conspiracy theorists flooded social media with posts suggesting existence of some controversial pictures of Andrew with Meghan Markle.
In an online campaign against the former actress, the Duchess of Sussex was targeted with debunked claims labeling her a “yacht girl.”
Meanwhile, some social media users circulated old photographs purporting to show the Duchess of Sussex aboard a yacht with former Prince Andrew.
However, credible reports confirm the woman in the 2010 images is model Alexandra Escat, not Markle.
The former Suits actress has no relationship to Andrew other than that she is married to his nephew, Prince Harry, and she has never been on vacations with the disgraced royal.
Meghan currently lives with her husband, Prince Harry and two children, Archie and Lilibet in California.
The couple moved to the US after stepping down as working members of the British royal family.
