Meghan Markle dreams of building business with daughter Princess Lilibet
The Duchess of Sussex envisions Princess Lilibet's future ahead of her fourth birthday
Meghan Markle has her sights set on a future business partner — her daughter, Princess Lilibet.
During the final bonus episode of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, the Duchess of Sussex revealed her dream of one day teaming up with her and Prince Harry’s youngest child.
“I wonder if one day I’ll be in business with Lili and we’ll be building something,” she said, via a conversation with guest Tina Knowles.
Knowles, the mother of superstar Beyoncé, responded warmly: “Yeah, that’s the best.”
The episode, released ahead of Lilibet’s 4th birthday, centered on family, ambition, and working alongside loved ones.
Meghan, 42, welcomed insights from the Matriarch author about the highs and lows of starting a business with her daughter. When asked for advice, Knowles didn’t sugarcoat the experience, having started haircare company Cécred with Beyoncé.
“There are difficulties,” the 71-year-old said, noting that disagreements naturally arise. “If my kids are mad at me, I can't take it. I'll cave. If we have a disagreement, it's her business, so she gets the win.”
It appears Meghan is already teaching Lilibet the tricks of the trade. Last week, she shared a sweet clip of her and Lili dressed in beekeeping suits as they harvested honey.
“Harvesting with my little honey. (Like mother, like daughter; she’s even wearing my gloves),” she captioned the sweet video.
In addition to Princess Lilibet, the Suits actress also shares son Archie with the Duke of Sussex. Archie marked his sixth birthday on May 6.
