Sofía Vergara has recently explained how being in her 50s changed her body confidence.
Speaking to E! News, the Modern Family alum said, “Swimsuits are always difficult for women—no matter what age, what size, what race.”
“We all have our insecurities. But once you get older, it's even more because we don't look the same,” remarked the 52-year-old.
Vergara, who released new summer collection with Walmart, stated. “You have to find options that do what you want them to do.”
“You can't wear the same things you wore in your 20s or 30s. In your 40s and 50s, things start changing, so it's good that there are things, like our Walmart [collection], that hold you and shape you, and enhances what you have,” mentioned the Griselda star.
However, Vergara pointed out, “When you reach a certain age, you know life more.”
“That's one of the fun things about getting older: You realise what's important in life and what is not,” she continued.
Vergara remarked, “And one of those important factors is taking care of herself.”
The Wild Card actress further said, “I'm in a business where we're always being looked at.”
Vergara noted, “It's different to age as a normal woman in a normal job, but to age in front of a camera is completely different.”
“And all of our insecurities become even bigger once you get older,” she added.
