Royal aides were quick to stress that it was unrelated to his wife Princess Kate's ongoing recovery from abdominal surgery, as Kensington Palace released a statement saying she was continuing to do well.

"We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant," said Kate Middleton's aides in latest statement.

The Prince and Princess of Wales's social media accounts have also shared the pictures as Willian returned to work days after missing his godfather's memorial service.

The heir to the throne said: "Anti-Semitism has no place in society. Prejudice has no place in society. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I want you all to know you can talk about it and your experiences."
