Injured varsity student out of danger: doctors
MINGORA: A girl student of the University of Swat, who had been shot and injured by unidentified gunmen, was successfully operated on, hospital sources said on Friday.
They said that Falak Noor, student of the College of Home Sciences, had been shifted to the Surgical Ward of the Saidu Sharif Central Hospital and was out of danger. Her family had claimed that she was targetted near the offices of the senior government officials of Swat and Malakand division.
However, the police disputed the family’s claim and stated that the girl was targetted somewhere else. The police have started investigation into the incident and keeping the investigation report a secret. No arrest has been made in this regard so far.
Meanwhile, the incident caused concern among the students and their parents about their safety and security.
