KARACHI: The Sindh High Court, while adjourning hearing for Thursday in the bail application of Axact employees in fraud and money-laundering case, has called for comments from the FIA and the prosecutor-general of Sindh. On Friday, the bench comprising Justice Syed Mohammad Farooq Shah held hearing in the bail application filed by nine Axact employees.
During the hearing, Amir Mansoob Qureshi and Abid Zuberi, the counsels for the accused, presented their arguments after which the court, while adjourning hearing until 18 February, called for comments at the next hearing from FIA and the prosecutor-general of Sindh. It may be mentioned here that Axact employees, Mohammad Rizwan, Imran Ahmed Khan, Arif Hussain, Adnan Suboor and others, have filed bail applications in fake degree mega-scandal case which were filed at the Sindh High Court after the applications having been earlier rejected by a sessions court.
