GHQ’s AG briefed on DCK progress

Lt-Gen Anwar Ali Hyder, the adjutant general (AG) GHQ, visited the DHA City Karachi project, said a press release issued by the Defence Housing Authority on Monday.
Administrator DHA Brig Zubair Ahmed apprised the AG about the DCK’s development strategy and the progress on the ongoing development works to make it livable by this year.
Later, the AG drove through various sectors of the DCK where he saw the development works going on in full swing. The AG performed the groundbreaking of Sector 14 development works. In Sector 14, a number of dedicated plots have been kept for junior commissioned officers (JCOs) and soldiers, said the press release.
The adjutant general was also briefed on the site about the farm houses project, being developed at a galloping pace.
