Laptops distributed

LAHORE

Bahria University Lahore Campus (A Project of Pakistan Navy) organised a session on Women Empowerment on Monday and on this occasion Prime Minister Laptop distribution ceremony was also held on the sideline of the session in which a total of 74 laptops were distributed among students.  

According to a press release, MPA Dr Aliya Aftab was the chief guest while the ceremony was also addressed by MPA Mian Irfan Aqeel Daultana and Dean Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, Punjab University Dr Nasira Jabeen. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Aliya Aftab stressed upon the participation of women in national development. She also highlighted the Punjab government’s endeavours for the women rights. Mian Irfan Aqeel Daultana highlighted the steps taken by the PML-N government for education in Punjab. 

Dr Nasira Jabeen stressed upon the issue of women empowerment and its need for a socially well-knitted and progressive society. 

Bahria University’s Lahore Campus Director Commodore (R) M Amjad Zaman SI (M), while expressing his gratitude vowed for developing a research and academic culture in line with vision and mission of the university.
