This refers to the article, ‘Lies, evasion, falsehood...the real crimes’ (April 19) by Ayaz Amir. The writer has excellently described the psyche of our leaders. They are lying even about proven facts – and that too repeatedly.
You can fool simple people of this country some of the time, but not all the people all the time. One agrees with the writer that late Jam Sadiq Ali was a better Muslim since he admitted his weaknesses frankly but carried out his duties as the CM honestly, effectively and with responsibility. Some sort of result should come out of this because these ‘leaks’ have not been ‘leaked’ by the local media or by a political opponent.
