Shahbaz, Zehri vow to eradicate terrorism
LAHORE
Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, here Tuesday. He strongly condemned Gulshan Iqbal Park tragedy and expressed deep grief over the loss of precious human lives and prayed for departed souls.
On this occasion, both the chief ministers reiterated the determination of complete eradication of terrorism. Talking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that Gulshan Iqbal Park tragedy had united the nation once again for elimination of terrorism. He said that elimination of terrorism was our national obligation which would be discharged at any cost and terrorists and their facilitators would not find any place to hide.
He said that elements involved in terrorist activities and their facilitators would be rooted out with the force of unity. He said that he would go to any extreme to stop bloodshed in the Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam. He said that the country is in the state of war and situation demands complete unity and harmony.
He said that terrorists killing children, women and elderly persons were enemies of humanity and would not escape punishment. He said that the sacrifices of martyrs would not waste. He said that terrorism was not the destiny of Pakistan and no effort would be spared for elimination of this scourge. The chief minister said that the resolve of the brave nation which had rendered supreme sacrifices in the war against terrorism could not be weakened and the nefarious designs of enemies of peace would be foiled with the force of national unity.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri said that government and people of Balochistan were with the Punjab government and the people in this hour of grief and the country would be made a haven of peace with collective efforts.

Speaking on the occasion, Archbishop Sebastian Shaw and Honorary Executive Secretary Javaid William condemned the tragedy and described it as a cowardly act. They said despite effective security arrangements, a number of innocent lives were lost in the incident of terrorism. They stressed the need for taking further security measures for the protection of citizens and assured the government full cooperation of minorities in the war against terrorism.
