PESHAWAR: An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police has been gunned down by unknown assailants here, Geo News reported Sunday.

 

According to police, Mir Afzal, an ASI of Bhana Mari police station, was traveling in a taxi to get to work when he was attacked by unidentified armed men in jurisdiction of Khazana Police Station.

 

Mir Afzal was killed in the incident but the driver remained unscathed.
