ISLAMABAD: Chief Executive of Axact IT company Shoaib Shaikh has confessed that his company had issued doctorate degrees to 147 persons in the US, Britain and Arab countries.
Shoaib Shaikh divulged these details during interrogation carried out by the FIA. The persons who got fake doctorate degrees are working at important posts in their respective countries. The number of degrees recovered from Axact’s office has touched 86,000. At least 100 cartons of bogus degrees were shifted to the FIA office from Axact’s office.
