ISLAMBAD: Former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentarian and now Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf central leader, senior parliamentarian Javed Hashmi has resigned from the National Assembly, Geo News reported.

Moreover, his daughter Maimoona Hashmi, following her father's suit has also stepped down as Member National Assembly.

Before tending his resignation, the firebrand statesman, addressing the House, said that it was time we changed our ways. The rulers have so many promises to keep and so many miles to go on the road of ‘nation-building’, but unfortunately they were yet indulged in authoritarianism, Hashmi added.

He thanked his erstwhile political-party-fellows for electing him party’s vice president in the past.

Now Hashmi is making speeches and blaming Nawaz Sharif to sign a deal with Musharraf, why hashmi was silent about this deal when he was leading this party, then there was no leader but only Nawaz Sharif. This type duality of politicians dumped this country into this positon. I am sure that Hasmi and other leaders joining PTI will stage another drama in near future when any signal reaches to them. this is a lesson of history.

Hashmi has proved to be the best out of Clean Politicians. We wish you the best of every thing Mr Hashmi. We support your demand that the present incompetent and corrupt govt must step down, this corrupt PM must dissolve the Assemblies and announce next elections which should be held in Mar 2012
