Islamabad: Vocational Training Centres, schools and housing scheme for the welfare and development of Overseas Pakistanis would be established in the different districts of KP on priority basis.
Talking to APP here on Monday, Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF) Chairman Barrister Amjad Malik said the foundation has set up training centers for the skilled labour in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Hayatabad, Peshawar, schools in DI Khan, Manshera, Hangu and a housing scheme in Budhni, Peshawar.
He said the foundation is taking measures for welfare of overseas Pakistanis and resolution of their problems as they expats are contributing a considerable foreign exchange to the national kitty.
He especially mentioned that people from Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) and KP are residing in gulf states and earning huge foreign exchange for their country, adding OPF is fully aware of the issued being confronted by overseas Pakistanis in Arab countries and by conducting scores of open Katchri (courts) resolved their problems on priority basis. To a question he said that included regularisation of contingent paid employees and training in other traders at the centres would be launched.
