BANNU: Two persons, including a woman, were killed and as many sustained injuries in separate incidents of firing in the district, police said on Thursday.
They said unidentified gunmen entered the house of Munawar Hussain in Mashar Daud Shah area in the limits of the Cantonment Police Station. They opened indiscriminate fire.As a result, the sources said, Noor Mahala Bibi, wife of Munawar Hussain, was killed on the spot while he sustained injuries.
They said Waheed Khan and Muhammadullah allegedly shot dead a sacked cop,
Ghulam Ibrahim, in Miryan Gate in Bannu. The accused escaped after committing the crime.Meanwhile, Wajahat and Ibrar Khan opened fire on Fayyaz Khan in Rondah Peepal Bazaar leaving him injured. The police lodged the cases and started an investigation.
