Delegates from Roots Millennium Schools (RMS), Islamabad, along with Chaperone Aruj Mariam, communications & PR officer, went to Tokyo, Japan, for an educational & cultural trip on the official invitation of Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan Farukh Amil in support of Pakistan-Japan friendship, says a press release.
The trip was hosted by Ambassador of Pakistan in Japan Farukh Amil, supported by Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Hiroshi Inomata and sponsored by RMS Chief Executive Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq.
All delegates were dressed up in national dresses. They visited the House of Representatives (Parliament House) and met with dignitaries as well. Students got the chance to see the Chamber of the House of Representatives, PM Chamber & Emperor's Room.
Children presented flags, badges, books, RMS shields & souvenirs to all and gave introduction of Pakistan, its culture and heritage. All credit goes to Ambassador Farukh Amil for giving RMS students an opportunity to visit Japan and arranging the National Diet Tour. Students of Roots Millennium Schools proudly represented Pakistan in the Japanese House of Representatives. The most proud moments for the students was when they met the first lady of Japan during their visit.
Students went to Ropongo Hills with the ambassador, where they visited to the sky deck on 53rd floor. They went to TEPIA to see amazing robot models for smart communities, ICT technology, environment, energy resources, 3R's. Meiji Shrine was the next destination for the students to visit with beautiful temple, garden and forests.
