Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended the date for submission of admission forms for its Basic Literacy to PhD level programmes till September 21.
Now applicants could seek admissions without late fee till the new date, said spokesman of the university.
The decision was taken by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr Shahid Siddiqui, on the demand of prospective applicants and continued students, such demands were received from various parts of the country.
Admissions forms and prospectuses for all programmes can be obtained from the sale points at Main Campus, Regional Campuses and Coordinating Offices across the country.
Prospectus can also be obtained at doorstep through TCS by Cash on Delivery Service. The applicants may call on 111-123-456 to get the prospectus through TCS.
Admission form can also be downloaded from the University's website www.aiou.edu.pk. Admission forms along with the required fee can be submitted at the nationwide branches of First Women Bank, Bank Alfalah, Allied Bank and at the designated branches of National Bank of Pakistan and Muslim Commercial Bank.
The detail of designated branches is available in the prospectuses as well as in the Regional Offices.
The programmes offered on merit based includes: PhD, MS/MPhil, MSc Statistics, COL MBA/MPA and LLM Shari'ah/MS Shari'ah.
