The closing ceremony of All Pakistan HEC Table Tennis Championship 2014-15 was held at Bahria University here on Friday. Ms Shaheen Khan, adviser (Sports & LI Division), was the chief guest on the occasion.
The talented male and female players from 26 universities came to the BU for matches of the championship which started on April 13. The universities included Institute of Management Sciences, Karachi; University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore; Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan; University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad; Iqra University, Karachi; Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta; and other universities across the country took part in the mega event.
Pro-Rector-DG Campus of Bahria University Rear Admiral (r) Saleem Akhtar HI(M) said that BU would continue to organise such healthy activities for the students which help in building mutual coordination and feelings of harmony among students.
Shaheen Khan, advisor (Sports & LI Division), appreciated the efforts of BU in organising the mega sports event.
