A three-day training session of Intel Teach Elements ‘Moving into Mobile Learning & Creativity in the Mobile Classroom’ was conducted at Roots Millennium Schools (RMS), One World Campus, E-11/4, says a press release.
The session was run by Khadija Bashir, project manager at Intel Education Pakistan along with Intel senior trainer Rubina Jahangir and Asim Sheikh.
Intel has launched this new training session “Intel Teach Elements “Moving into Mobile Learning & Creativity in the Mobile Classroom” for the first time in Pakistan with Roots Millennium Schools. 25 master trainers from RMS attended this training session constituted of two programs i.e. moving into Mobile Learning and Creativity in the Mobile Learning.
Moving into Mobile Learning is an e-learning course comprised of three modules for teachers that explained and demonstrated the implementation of mobile learning with interactive activities and locally relevant classroom examples. The course helped teachers transition to mobile learning with background research, planning strategies, and suggested technology apps and online tools.
Creativity in the Mobile Classroom is an e-learning course for teachers that comprised of three modules. It explained and demonstrated the development of creative thinking skills through a personalized, mobile learning environment. The course helped teachers transition to a personalized learning environment with background research, planning strategies, and suggested technology apps and online tools. It offers suggestions for assessing student learning with mobile devices and managing a mobile learning environment.
Certificates were awarded to all participants by Khadija Bashir, project manager at Intel and Sabina Zakir Director at RMS.
On giving the closing remarks, RMS Chief Executive Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq said, “Intel program - Moving into Mobile Learning is an inspiring example of how individuals are using technology to increase students’ productivity and develop the skills needed in the workplace.” He further added, “With an innovative use of mobile and cloud technology, these educators are transforming learning environments and delivering more personalized education to students, allowing them to do more and achieve more.”
