Security for Chehlum, Data Sahib’s Urs

LAHORE
Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur -Rehman has said the security and municipal arrangements will be made on the Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA) and Urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh. Mujtaba Shuja said he along with the Members of Provincial Assembly of Divisional Peace Committee, Divisional and District Administration and ulema will visit the routes of processions of the Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA). He said the Punjab government is determine to utilise all available resources for maintenance of law and order. He said it is the responsibility of ulama and the management of processions to extend helping hand to the government and the administration for creating atmosphere of mutual harmony and tolerance.
Mian Mujtaba expressed these views while addressing a meeting regarding arrangements on the Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA) and Urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh. Commissioner Lahore Division Abdullah Khan Sumbal, RPO Sheikhupura Shehzad Sultan, Members Provincial Assembly Ch. Shehbaz Ahmed, Rana Muhammad Irshad, Waheed Gul, DCOs Sheikhupura, Kasur, Lahore, DPOs Nankana Sahib, Kasur, Sheikhupura, licence holders, Administrator Data Ganj Bakhsh, Agha Shah Hussain Qazalbash, Baba Touqeer, Khwaja Basharat and other ulema as well as officers attended the meeting.
Commissioner Lahore Division said the administration has completed all planning with regard to the Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA) and Urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh. He said the District Peace Committees have already held meetings regarding arrangements of processions and instructions have been issued to the district administrations. He said the administration is fully alert and all the processes will be successfully completed with the cooperation of ulema.
