LAHORE
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Punjab Organiser Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar Monday said the party is not interested in confrontational politics, but at the same time it will not bow to any oppressor.
Talking to a women delegation led by PTI Women Wing Punjab president Saloni Bukhari, Lahore president Dr Zarqa and MPA Saadia Suhail at the party office, Sarwar said those criticising the Pakistan Army were country’s enemies and must be brought to book.
He said good governance in Punjab has vanished and flood-affected people were not being given any attention. He said the incumbent rulers were afraid of defeat in the local bodies elections and seemed busy in avoiding the polls.
He said Imran Khan had created political awareness among all segments of society particularly youth and women and enables them to play their role for bringing positive change in the country.
He said the change had come because the PTI had braced itself for rescuing the country from the clutches of corrupt and inhumane system.
Sarwar regretted that the rulers had only made promises with the masses during its over a two-years rule and could visibly see their defeat in the upcoming local body elections.
Sarwar said the Pakistan Army jawans were laying their lives in the war on terror to safeguard the sovereignty of the country.
