The SHC issued notices to Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), advocate general and others on a petition against appointment of Prof Dr Masood Hameed as acting-vice chancellor (VC) of the DUHS.
The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) had assailed the Sindh Governor’s decision to appoint Prof Dr Masood Hameed as the acting VC for the fourth consecutive time, for the appointment being against the Sindh Universities Laws (Amendment) Act, 2013.
