The University of Karachi’s (KU) awarded 17 PhD and two MPhil degrees in various disciplines announced the university’s Registrar Prof Dr Moazzam Ali Khan on Wednesday.
Those awarded PhD degrees included Muhammad Bilal Azmi and Shabana Saeed of the Department of Biochemistry, Maqbool Hassan of Usool-ud-Din, Anwarullah and Hasan Ali of Islamic Learning, Muhammad Fayyaz Ahmed of Agriculture, Abdul Jabbar Khan of Mass Communication, Zeeshan Abbas of Physics, Nazeer Ali of Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics, Muhammad Saleem and Shafqat Hussain of Chemistry, Saba Farooq of Molecular Medicine, Adnan Khan of Geology, Ambreen Ansari of Urdu, Muhammad Arshad of Social Work, Amina and Amir Ali Shah of Sindhi. Lubna Hassan of Department of English and Muhammad Nisar of Physiology were awarded MPhil degrees.
