Bulls dominated the Lahore Stock Exchange, as the LSE-25 Index increased by 65 points to close at 5,708 points.
Trading volume was higher than was recorded on the last trading day.
Of the 78 companies traded, the value of 21 increased, six declined, while there was no change in the value of 51 companies' shares.
The trading volume was 1.2 million shares, higher than 527,500 shares conducted on the last trading day.
K-Electric was the volume leader with a turnover of 912,500 shares.
Mari Petroleum was the top gainer with an increase of Rs13 per share.
