International recognition for TCF

KARACHI: The Citizens Foundation (TCF) has been recognised for the 2015 Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Schwab Foundation, a statement said on Tuesday.
This year, the Schwab Foundation has selected 33 outstanding social entrepreneurs for their innovative approaches and potential for global impact, it said.
The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship was co-founded by Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, and his wife, Hilde.
The Foundation works closely with the World Economic Forum to ensure that leading social entrepreneurs can best be integrated into shaping regional, global and industry agendas through the Forum’s unique platforms, it added.
