Ex-dist nazim vows to honour commitments

From Our Correspondent

CHAKWAL: Former district nazim Sardar Ghulam Abbas said on Sunday that he left the PTI because Imran Khan did not honour his commitment to go to Waziristan during a long march.

Addressing a rally, Ghulam Abbas said he along with a big rally from Chakwal was with Imran Khan to go to Waziristan, but he took U-turn and returned from Dera Ismail Khan. Former union nazims, naib nazims, councillors and people from 68 union councils of the district took part in the rally. They gave Sardar Ghulam Abbas a mandate to choose a political party to contest general elections. He said he would come up with people’s expectations. He told the rally that all big political parties approached him. He criticised the rulers for not delivering. He thanked his supporters for reposing confidence on him.
