ISLAMABAD: Whenever Axact chief Shoaib Sheikh is asked legal questions about issues concerning his company and objections are raised he moves the court and gets a stay order.
Pemra and the Interior Ministry have written letters that there is problem in clearance issued to Axact. Instead of replying to letters the company got ex-parte stay order. Shoaib Sheikh was told that he had not obtained NOC from big security agencies of the country but he (Shoaib) moved court to get stay order.
When Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) asked questions about big cash transaction in annual account then Axact approached court and obtained stay order. When the Security and Exchange Commission asked Shoaib that where did he get pad-up capital which he showed and then instead of answering this query the Axact challenged it in the court.
When Defence Housing Society (DHA) asked him that the land which he got through a deal and using it for construction might be illegal. Instead of solving this issue with DHA the Axact moved court and got stay order.
In the past Shoaib Sheikh had got stay order against software and IT organisation Pasha. During last four years he got stay orders seven times against newspapers and TV reports. However, now the New York Times has told that not only Axact had got stay orders to conceal its activities but it had sent expensive legal notices to newspapers and magazines that include Gulf and UK newspapers and magazines.
