Imran expresses full confidence in Judicial Commission
Says he will wholeheartedly accept Karachi by-poll result

ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, on Thursday said he had full confidence in the Judicial Commission probing rigging in the general elections of 2013.
Talking to reporters outside the Judicial Commission building here, Imran Khan said the PTI was collecting all the relevant data about the election rigging to provide it to the commission.Besides the PTI chief and other senior leaders, the PTI task force leader Ishaq Khakwani and their counsel Hafeez Pirzada appeared before the Judicial Commission to submit the rigging evidence they had gathered so far.
The PTI chief said that the party had thrashed out a strategy to collect the rigging evidence to furnish the same before the Judicial Commission. He claimed that a whole room was packed with fraudulent and dubious votes, which will be unearthed by the commission once the evidence was presented.
While talking about the NA-246 by-elections, Imran said that for the first time the MQM wasthird-rate tactics and threats. He said that they were satisfied that the elections were being held under the supervision of Rangers. He said he will wholeheartedly accept the result of by-poll in Karachi.
The PTI chief said the judicial commission has summoned the PML-N and the MQM and asked the Election Commission to preserve the election material in bags as the evidence is there.He supported the statement of the PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan that material of 70 polling stations should be audited.
He said that his party has requested the judicial commission to record and examine statements of journalists Najam Sethi and Hamid Mir, and former MQM leader Nabeel Gabol among 13 witnesses in the judicial investigation into alleged electoral rigging in the 2013 general elections.
Meanwhile, the PTI vice-president Shah Mehmood Qureshi said they have a list of eyewitnesses, who, if the judicial commission agreed, would be presented before the commission to testify the rigging in the 2013 elections. He claimed that they have a truckload of rigging proofs which will be presented before the judicial commission.Qureshi said that the PTI was struggling to ensure free and transparent elections in the country to strengthen democracy.
