Hails prompt response to terror attack
CHARSADDA: Pakistan’s former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said here on Thursday that the local villagers’ support to the law-enforcement agencies during the attack on the Bacha Khan University showed that the terrorists would be defeated soon. Talking to reporters during his visit to the Bacha Khan University, he said the terrorists failed to materialise their designs to cause the maximum damage during the attack due to the prompt response from the police. “The university administration, students and local villagers deserve to be appreciated for their bravery and swift action against the attackers,” he stressed.
