NAB pursuing ‘Say no to Corruption’ drive aggressively
ISLAMABAD: On the directions of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, the NAB is aggressively pursuing “Awareness and Prevention” campaign on “Say no to corruption” across the country as the NAB signed an MoU with Higher Education Commission (HEC).
This campaign intends to change attitude and mindset on corruption and its ill effects on the society. Currently more than 10 thousand character-building societies have been established in universities and colleges of the countries.
The NAB chairman said that since mothers have a major impact in bringing up children and their attitude and development, it intended to target young ladies in universities and colleges who were going to be future mothers.
He said that their sincere efforts in inculcating basic moral values against corruption besides religious teachings would go a long way in strengthening and bringing a change in the mindset of tomorrow’s youth.
Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said that the NAB had proposed Ministry of Capital Administration & Development Division (CADD) and HEC to get together a panel of eminent female scholars to share their valuable ideas and thoughts in implementation of goals to eradicate menace of corruption effectively through NAB forum throughout the country.
