PPP is standing with Kashmiris, says Aseefa
KOHALA/ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari has said that her party will fight till last for democratic rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir. Aseefa was addressing a public rally in Kohala as she is in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) these days to lead party’s election campaign for coming AJK polls in absence of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
During her address to the public rally Aseefa said that her party had given sacrifices for democracy in Pakistan and her party holds a relation with Kashmiris from last three generations. She said that PPP is standing with Kashmiris. Every Kashmiri should vote for her party on July 25, the day when elections are supposed to be held for AJK legislature assembly.
Aseefa, in an emotional tone, addressed a large crowd at PPP’s rally and said that her love for Kashmiris was her heritage. Meanwhile, the sources said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would join the AJK election campaign on the third day of Eidul Azha after concluding his US trip, it was learnt on Sunday.
According to sources privy to the details of Bilawal’s schedule, the PPP chairman would begin the third phase of his election campaign in the AJK from July 23.
Bilawal will attend two public gatherings in AJK on July 23, they said, adding that the first gathering would be in Bagh and the other in Muzaffarabad. Bilawal will further spend the entire election day on July 25 in the AJK and will also visit polling stations to witness the polling process, the sources said.

It is pertinent to mention here that the election campaign is in full swing in the region as the polling day nears with Prime Minister Imran Khan, PMLN leader Maryam Nawaz also visiting the AJK and addressing multiple rallies in a day to woo their voters.
